Will any of the recommended air coolers fit a socket 1155 i5 2500k in a Corsair Carbide 300R case and allow me to keep my 4.2GHz overclock?

Have 2 x 120 mm intake fans on case front and 2 x 120 mm exhaust fans on case roof. H60 fan is on upper rear of case pushing cool air into case void through radiator.

I suspect my Corsair H60 is on it’s last legs as cooling performance is dropping off despite cleaning the fans/rad and applying new thermal paste.

Is that compatible with Socket 1155? Thermaltake‘s website says “115X”, but the info for all the PA range ***elsewhere*** says “1150, 1151”.
yes all 1150 and 1151 and 1200 sockets use the same mount spacing

the thermaltake PA120se use about £35 now, and will be a cooler you can move to a new platform when you make the jump

Installed a PA120SE in a mates PC last week, honestly one of the best air coolers I have ever fitted, how they make that for £35 is beyond me.

I'd like to thank @Tetras for that, I read a few of his posts recommending it and he wasn't wrong.

If you have the space to fit one of those then I would say go for it.
