Need an exciting single player game.

Not as good as RTCW.
Much repitivness in the maps.
Still it's good fun nonetheless for shooting occult lovin' nazis and catsuit wearing frauleins with an array of overpowered guns!

It would seem I might give MW2 a miss then.
Got some research to do now thanks:)

The new one is more like Crysis/ Psi-Ops (protagonist has super powers), where as the old one is a straight-up FPS.

The first game is brilliant, however, whereas the new one becomes repetitive and slightly tedious after a time.
 
+1 for Half Life 2... and Portal, now I'm on that train of thought! Just buy the Orange Box damnit! :p

In my opinion borderlands is a single player game only, every time I've tried to play online I've had to lead my targets (I play as a sniper) to compensate for lag, it just gets so random that I give up.

+1 I powerhoused through it and had a great experience, that said coop was damn fun when it worked, sadly it only worked a few times.

To be fair I only played it local with friends so this wasn't an issue, when I tried SP it just wasn't the same
 
You gotta play SoC to understand Pripyat?

I can never get into SoC. I only have Clear Sky at the moment but want to play pripyat hehe.
