they told me 2.4km :(

but then i realised when we moved a couple of months back we took our number with us, so i think its reporting back that distance, as the exchange is less than 1k from me.

It got activated this morning, not had a chance to try it yet as I'm at work, I'm hoping I can get my modem/router working with it (should be able to as they emailed me all the details to make it work :D ) as I won't be able to collect the BE modem until Saturday, I missed the delivery as no one was at home.

You don't need any log in details if you have a dynamic IP (the one you don't have to pay for).

Settings are:

1) dhcp modem should be enabled, modem should be in dynamic mode.
2) vci=101 vpi=0
3) rfc 1483 bridging should enabled
4) When configuring the WAN, member would get an option asking whether your ISP authenticates with user/pass or not
You have to choose no in there.
5) Connection is IPoEoATM
6) Encapsulation: LLC based
7) Modulation: G.dmt 992.5 Annex A

My 2mb virgin media, has been awsome

no line drops less than 20ping on uk servers,

full 2mb download speeds all day and night.

And even Better IVE NEVER BEEN CHARGED A PENNIE :D
 
waso that cable or dsl?

guessing dsl as cable has slightly higher pings.

I can get virgin, but i want the speed.

I wanted viring cable but after the sites says i can have it. They say i cant lol
 
well quick update


sam knows says im 227 meters from the exchange :D so much for be saying were 2.4km lol

227 sounds about right btw :D

Well i have recieved a cheque this morning from TitanADSL for my £5 off the first month line rental! I can officialy say i am impressed with the speed of the service :p
 
I got BE working on my Belkin 7633, although it's only synced at 10mb, which seems a bit low, will have to have a play about with the settings and try the BE modem when I pick it up.

Other than that though the connection is good and stable, low pings and no traffic shaping :D
