Is the HIS HD7850 or the Gainward GTX570 on offer today a better card to buy?

I could refuse delivery of the HD7850 which should arrive today if the GTX570 is better.

7850 > GTX580 > GTX570 IMHO

They are pretty much guaranteed to do 1150. In fact, I've never heard of a card that won't do 1150. This nigh on matches a 580 but cheaper, cooler, less power etc etc not to mention the extra vram.

My mate also sent in another text that the 7850 uses one pcie so it's probably cooler, quieter and uses less power (as you've said glen8).

He knows I like PhysX and said that is the only advantage of getting the GTX570.

I'll stick with the 7850.
