Been thinking about getting a PS3 over the last few days with the bundle deals around, but what's putting me off is the games - even some of the best PS3 games, Motorstorm/Resistance, get pretty average user reviews on Gamespot, like way lower than Gears/Forza 2. The other games I might be interested in - F1/VF5 again very average scores. Genji (which I mention cause it's in some of the bundles) gets slated pretty much, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma isn't my sort of thing. Oblivion/Fear/Vegas I've already played on 360 or PC.
So then I took a look at upcoming PS3 titles, and until we get to the likes of FF13 (not my sort of thing but my brother loves them), Little Big Planet, the new full Wipeout game and GT5 (both definitely my sort of thing), which are all due next year, there really doesn't seem to be much on the immediate horizon right now - just GTA4 which I can pick up on the 360, and GT5 Prologue/Wipeout HD/GT HD which aren't full games. There are some other good games on the way over the next few months but they're all coming out on 360 too.
Anyone bought a PS3 and either loving it or bored of it and want to have a go at convincing me either way? I wouldn't want to waste half the warranty with it collecting dust when I could just as well buy it (probably cheaper too) at christmas.
