I have 1080 ti and I'm using 8700K with it for 3 years now and I get like 60+ fps in 2k in most of the games
Is this for 1080P or 1440P gaming?
It varies a lot by game, but in most, the 1080P will see some gains (but will mostly be VERY high already), but 1440P will not see much.
A couple of extra cores would get you some gains as would overclocking... so wouldn't a 4790K fit on the same board?
