Then get google maps Java for your phone!
point your mobile to www.google.com/gmm and download the java app. Gives you the usual google maps options, and coverage via a menu button - and also does step by step directions for you too!
Pretty nifty (if a little slow) - give it a go...
As an aside theres also a gmail client too - point your phone to gmail.com/app and get very good email use in your phone.
