need fast build help

probably too knowledgeable for them, stupid muppets!!!

lol at the time maybe got about 6 years catching up to do

1st question at the interview on the shop floor
"how would you sell me this PC?"

i told them i would advise people not to touch it with someone else's
nice specs on paper but graphics built into motherboard
not a thing wrong with that but was missing the AGP slot
space was there and the holes for soldering but he slot was missing

didnt get the job

also have been asked not to go back there ever again, as i have an uncanny ability to spot where they have got the prices wrong on things
walked outa there with a trolly load of Tom Tom priced up with the price for the carry case

£1,333.77!!!

i need to find something that costs £3.23 HALP!!!

just make sure you get 1600+ memory for the i7 if you want to get 4ghz out off it as you put 12gb of 1333 stuff as what you was looking at

true but like most people will forget about it and in years time when it does get slow and you need help to do it most people will have moved on to new rigs so might as well overclock it now save it to a profile and run it a stock for the time being as you have help off this fourm which you might not have later on, just a thought :)

there are plenty off guilds on here i would say turn v core up to 1.375 blck to 200 and mulit up to 20 and if it fails to boot up v core till you get it stable and into windows then stress test it with prime95 till you happy with just keep an eye on temps make sure they dont exceed 80 and if they do lower the multi or blck which ever gives you the best results as 200x20 will give you 4.0ghz and a memory speed off 1600 with the right settings

thats just a very ruff idea how to do it when you come to do it just post a thread and people will help you :)

lol sounds like a lot more reading to do

is that all done in bios or windows
i remember people talking about pencil lines on cpu to join something up to something else
all seemed a bit Heath Robinson

ner more bill oddy :D haha ner no need for that i did that on my 750i to help with vdroop but you shouldnt need to do that just the settings in the bios and if you run into any problems ask on here, why not get something for nothing ?its win win win :)
