I was looking at the firewire ice box but I have a few Qs.
1. Does it keep the HDs cool? As they get very very hot with no air moving around them, even out of a case they get hot. (320gb Western Digital 3200JB SE)
2. After some Googling it seems they have had a few corruption issues? "Write Delay" errors in windows, anything to worry about?
My current external enclosure is using an external firewire DVD-RW case, works a treat but the case looks **** (hacked it to get a 80mm fan in the front). Its quick and works well, but I need something more sightly which I can carry around without the fan falling off
