Need For Speed : Rivals

I bought this last night after watching a youtube PS4 review. Luckily I only paid £24 for it.

How is this game getting decent reviews?
 
Would also be interested to know where to pick this up cheap (not seen any going in MM, guessing no one is buying intel processors atm :P )

When I was in Mexico yesterday picking up BF4 Premium I noticed it was roughly £18-19 on the origin store ;)

Yep, watched the video and agree with him, however, having played the game the framerate didn't detract from how fun it actually was.

If you enjoyed Most Wanted & Burnout Paradise then this will be right up your street, a fun arcade racer. It's nowhere near as bad as portrayed imo.
 
Most Wanted is my favourite NFS game, Burnout paradise is also amazing. I just can't stomach playing a racing game at 30FPS though, should be 60 minimum imo unless they use blur like Crysis did?
 
The intro, training, videos are **** awful!

However I'm really really enjoying this game with the 60fps fixed and doing 60fps pretty much all the time. Only ever drops to 55 in one area :)

Glad someone's enjoying this game I gave up weeks ago its shovelware in a very pretty game engine IMO. After a few hours play you realise its the same game as the others with all this forced shared media garbage thrown in your face & horrible loading times (but decent graphics). EA should let the series die now they will have trouble selling this for much longer even the console players are jaded way to run a franchise into the ground it went from superb titles like Most Wanted (2005), Underground 1 + 2 to this sorry effort :(

What a waste of £34.99 last NFS game I ever buy at full price!
 
It will probably bore on me at some point as well, it's just been awhile to have cool music playing and racing as fast as you can through woodlands while chasing or being chased by cops.
