Hi all,

I have NFS shift normal edition and have played to level 33 (PS3). Really enjoying it but fancied a drive in the BMW GT2 thats in the vids & on the box. Can find it anywhere, found out its in the special edition only.
So I bought the special edition as well off a well know auction site (in a cove near the sea.... 'abay' in fact - not sure if you can mention said site like this)

Anyway, got the game delivered, box has special sleeve made to look like a tyre tread 'wow'..... ahem cough cough.

But the disc looks no different !

Put the game in & my normal trophies & such load up but no BMW anywhere !

How can I tell if its the S/edition or just a normal ? Should the disc itself have different livery / decals on it? When you hit the PS button in game to quit.... should it say shift special edition ??? I'm clutching at straws here, any help would be great.

Many thanks in advance

Ah...
No code in the box.
Good point about different disc's...that would be expensive.

So do I need the code to get the BMW & elite series? Or would they have appeared anyway in normal edition at level 50 (for example)?

So I haven't been ripped off then, it is the right disc just no code... So poss have been ripped off then

Oh well.

So going back to the OP. The only difference between normal & special then is the redeem codes?

Can I get the or will I get the BMW & elite series once I have got to level 50 anyway?

Many thanks in advance

A quick google for NFS shift bmw gt2 found this

"The BMW M3 GT2 is a reward car for beating the NFS World Tour in Career and is only usable outside of career and if you got the promo code for pre ordering it you have to complete at least one race before entering the code."
