boss at work has asked me to find a graphics card with 8 vga connectors on it cost is no real issue but the lower the better doesnt need serious power behind it (according to the customer) but im at abit of a loss atm any help would be appreciated.

just need some options :) anything is an option atm as customer wasnt specific >.> i was thinking two
dual link dvi's with 2 4 headed splitters on em

AFAIK, the largest number of monitor outputs you will find on a modern consumer-grade card is six, and most of those would need active displayport to VGA adapters.

Does the PC that will be running it have a second full-size PCIE port? If so then you could go for two cards like this and a bundle of active mini-displayport to VGA adapters (like the "StarTech Mini DisplayPort to VGA Video Adapter Converter" - part number "MDP2VGA").

You'll not get in on a single card but you can do it over multiple cards.

Matrox do multi display cards but you could also do it with 4x consumer cards. The flightsim guys do it a lot.

right the customers back at the office and has asked for a pc, with 6 outputs at 1080P must be able to show a diff video on each or spreadsheets on them i need a full build am going to have a look for what i can see but would like your advice.
my budget is the price of the quatro cards with that many outputs would be so about 8k but the cheaper the better. have fun and try not to spend all the moneys

it also needs to be as small as possible then they'll decide what to go with the pc build or a professional card solution.
