Need HDD / Disk Drive Help

I recently bought both this hard drive and disk drive. They both have the small sata ports on them so I have connected the supplied two sata cables to them. But there is a bigger slot on both on them in the L shape. I believe this is the power cable but I can't find anything which feels right to plug in.

You need a SATA power connector from your power supply.

Can you find something looking like these?:

Ah yes it must be these cables. However when put it they are extremely loose and come out easily

They're not the most secure connectors but they should stay put when connected.

They should do, all mine are a tight fit. What Psu do you have?

It does come with sata cables. They just don't fit well. And importantly don't work :/

So either the plugs on the PSU are faulty, or you aren't pushing them in far enough.

An optical drive will hang from a properly connected SATA power connector.

If you are pushing the connectors all the way in and they are still lose, it sounds like the plastic may be broken around the connectors.
