Need Help about brushless motors and ESC

Okay so the problem is i bought a new brushless motor which can output 200w

and my ESC says it can output 80amps

when i tried this new motor in my rc car it wouldnt get the car moving...

Is the ESC restricting the motor or something, or does it sound like the motor is Fooooked?

the motor is 9.5T 4700kv LRP

its a MSC-22BL 80 amp

thats all its says it is on the box

I had thing with my planes new ESC and Motor combo where i had to change the pulse rate of the ESC to match the Motor. Have a look at the manuals and see what you can do to change them...

on mine it was a case of turning on with full throttle on and the ESC went into program mode..
