I already have the sim rigSimplest would be a gaming PC, monitor, wheel bolted to desk or with a stand.
All the way to dedicated cockpit, or even a gimble and projector.
I really need to know what type of pc I know i need windows 11 and i7 but thats about itI already have the sim rig

To be honest I have no idea what I need because I know absolutely nothing about pcsDepends on the game. Forza is pretty efficient, but 4K is harder on the hardware. Look at what FPS you want at 4K for the games.
If there are any games with the Unreal 5 engine, expect 15fps![]()
Tell us the games you want to play and answer the other questions above ^^.To be honest I have no idea what I need because I know absolutely nothing about pcs

Then we can do a spec.

I'm looking about £1200.00That's a good start but we're hamstrung without a total budget.
Even personal preferences would be an additional - as aesthetics can play an important part to some members - especially if it's a large budget (and 4k will dictate a healthy amount for smooth racing at 4K without gfx compromising - if wanted).
And do you want advice on steering wheels etc as there are plenty of user on here that will have great user knowledge (although may require a different sub forum)
If you've wiggle room I'd consider a 9070XT for another £100 and a better/larger NvME for another £50-70, 1TB isn't a lot these days, although if you only ever play a handful of sims it wont matter much.
Upscaling at 4K or not it's still going to look and perform substantially better than whatever janky res/settings the Xbox runs things at.
Thank youIf building yourself something like this should fit the bill, I'd find out how much your sims skew toward the CPU over GPU but I am aware of a few that seem to favour the former.

You can get W11 keys for dirt cheap at around £10-20, installing is easy via USB. Technically you don't even need to buy it last I checked, you can run without activating it and only lose minor functionality, but double check on that.
