well a few days agow i found an alien ware computer at the dump and it had all the bits in it so i took it specs are...
E6400 (stock cooler).
Nivida 7950GX2.
Thermotake toughpower 600w.
Asus P5N32-SLI DELUXE.
so far ive tested the 7950 GX2 in my rig (ran like new).
E6400 in my rig (Ran prime for 20 mins all fine).
Jump started the Thermotake 600w with 15 fans and a optical drive..
However, the pc did not have any ram so i took 2 512mb stick out and put it in the asus board and connected, 24 pin, 8 pin, PCI 6 pin( into 7950) plugged the power swich only into the motherboard from the case and a fan to the motherboard and one to the molex on the PSU, plugged my monitor, keyboard and mouse.
So i hit the start button on the case and everything tunned on, all fans on everything and the motherboard light but nothing came up on the monitor it just sayed No Signal... going to sleep and it whould keep popping up saying that??.
Ive got no HDD connected or optical, i just want to see if the board is working and i can boot into the bios? am i missing to connect somthing?.
