Arite folks I need some plant help :)

I have a Fig Yvig that is looking a bit poorly. Basically I bought it about a year ago from Ikea of all places but when I bought it looked much better than it does now. It was very green and much more leaves than it does now. Admittedly I haven’t looked after it too well but want to try and resurrect it. Only last week it looked even worse than it down now with hardly any green and a fair few dead leaves. So I stuck it near a nice big window and have been watering it every day, since then more green has started to spear but it still not looking great. I’m just looking for some advice as to what I can do to bring it back to life. I know someone who has one that is a good six foot tall so that’s what I am aiming for.

So all you green fingers fire away with your comments :)

We had a big 'ol house plant that was almost dead. Stuck it in a new, bigger pot with some fresh compost and gave it some Miracle Grow Plant Revive. It's not quite perfect again just yet but it's getting there :)

Ok I'll keep at it and this weekend I'm gonna go and try and get a bigger pot and some better soil, hopefully that will help :)

I'll keep you updated!

Yeah the leaves are fine byu the looks of it. As I said here are some pics of the plant in question, as you can see its not looking like the one I originally posted.

bigger pot, find out where it likes to be (direct sunlight, warm, dark etc), water it and feed it (as it says on the miracle grow bottle). i have a plant my mum bought me years ago, i've almost killed it about 3 times and each time i water and feed it and it looks itself again in no time.
