Hi everyone,
Right, I've been upgrading my PC a bit from its standard components, new RAM, GPU, extra hardrive, bigger power supply. I then bought an Intel E5400 (looking to overclock with an Arctic Freezer pro 7), thinking it was compatible with my mobo, but it turns out it isn't, so I'm still running a P4 3.06Ghz processor. I do want to make the upgrade though, so I want to get a new mobo, nothing fancy or expensive, and I've been recommended this:

My old mobo is this just for reference:

First thing's first, will that mobo definately run the E5400 and is it a decent mobo for the money?
My main reason for posting on here though is that I'm stuck regarding the installation of it. I currently have Windows XP, but I want to take advantage of the offer to students of getting the Windows 7 download for half price. However, I'm under the impression that in order to start a PC after changing the motherboard it needs to boot off the Windows discs? (It won't just boot off the hardrive?)
This would be a problem, because I don't have the original Windows XP discs to boot the system from, and the Windows 7 offer is download only as far as I'm aware.
That's the dilemma I'm in basically! I'd really appreciate anyone giving some advice on how I could go on from here. Maybe there's a way of copying the XP OS onto disc from my PC? Or will it actually boot OK from the hardrive after a change of Mobo?
Hopefully I won't just have to buy the full price Windows 7 discs (student budget can't really afford that!) but if I do can someone link me to the one I need? There seem to be millions of different versions of it! I'm looking for Home 64-bit so I can run my 4gb RAM without throttling it!
Cheers in advance for any help! If anyone wants some extra information just ask and I'll do my best to give it
