asio requires a download to work with fubar

is that with Foobar still running? To pass the focus to youtube you need to exit foobar first.
Open up your Windows playback devices properties and have a look under Advanced:
There should be a couple of tick boxes covering exclusive modes
These may only work using WASAPI and not ASIO but still worth a try.
If they don't work with ASIO, give WASAPI a try, it's equal to ASIO for playback use as both will give you bit perfect audio.

I find these speakers sound even better the more you run them in.
Also what is the advantage of using Wasapi for playing music through your media player...I know it uses the correct bitrate ect but is there honestly any noticible difference from using the default one?
