need help! electric window!!

ok some 1 took my dads vw polo mrk3 on a test drive n when he got back he saId the window does not work, so my dad said ok. i took it apart 2 have a look and the cable has snaped

can u change the cable or do u change the lot? n how much are we talking??

Do you mean the actual wires connecting to the motors? Can't you just patch them up?

It's usually a whole unit, often called a window regulator.

You'll be able to get one from somewhere like GSF car parts, one for my Clio was around £70 and pretty easy to fit.

yea i took it out looks like the cable is all riped up around the motor. .. but i had to prop the window up do you think this one wil fit my car?
