Need help....fast?

OK, So I have tried unlocking an iPhone 3GS from T-Mobile onto O2, and I have followed the instructions to the letter, it has changed the baseband to 6.15.00 and when doing the ultrasn0w it gets to the end, and a pop up says 'Cannot connect to Mobile Data Network' or something, and the unlock doesn't work.

Any ideas?

I have tried re-jailbreaking, and re-installing ultrasn0w...but it is still the same...

You may just need to put the o2 APN settings: http://shop.o2.co.uk/update/settings.html

EDIT: Sorry, didn't read that properly. So the unlock doesn't work at all? i.e. you see 'invalid sim' or similar when putting the o2 sim in?

I am on an O2 iPhone contract, I am trying to sort this one out for a mate. It says O2-Uk top left, but cannot do anything, no calls, it says it's invalid with the phone or summat.

OK, so now it recognises the sim, but no matter what, it has no signal. Ideas?
