Need help finding flights

Right guys needing some help here

Need to go over to Corfu next week to visit a family member who is ill

But due to the time of year flights are seemingly hard to come by

Can anyone here suggest or help me find flights from a scottish or English airport for that matter to Corfu that is going to be the right side of £1000 per person?


Not fussy about where it's from within the uk but obviously the more towards jock land the better


Is there any flight comparison websites out there.

Cheapest flight out of glasgow is nearly £1700

Relative bargain in comparison :)
 
Right, you need to think about this sensibly. Paying £1k or £500 to fly somewhere like Corfu is stupid. It's only expensive because nobody flies there out of season.

Ryanair will fly you to Athens and back for £122 from Stansted.

Hertz will rent you a Focus for 1 week for £130.

It's a 7 hour drive from Athens to Corfu.

Total cost £250 + fuel + cost of getting to Stansted.
 
Or Glasgow to London return £90
London to Corfu return £230

Edit - looking at the flight in more detail its an overnight stay at Athens airport.

Yeah I know and it only goes close starts at Blackpool and goes to Turkey :)

Just thought it would be great to promote the site. I'm hoping one day I'll never have to dry or pay for expensive taxis :D
