Need help from any clock guru's.

Alright chaps, this is a bit of a longshot but what the hell, the old mans birthday is coming up and he wants a new table clock.

On remembering him saying 'that's a nice one' while watching a episode of csi new york a few months ago i tracked down the episode* and found the clock in question.

but what the hell is that thing called?

*yes, i have just hammered through the endings of almost 4 seasons worth to find that exact moment, i don't know what happened in each ep but i now know a long list of killers.

yeah, that much closer to what iam thinking.

Just got myself a new radio control and weather display clock while iam supposed to be shopping for him, i suck at shopping.

It's true though, there's a good chance it's simply a prop created for the show.

This has actually just reminded me of something, relevant to my earlier posts and is why I suggested it could be a prop, just so you don't get your hopes up in case it is. I hope you find it though.

Coincidentally, on episodes of the second or third series (I think) of CSI, there is an nice labelled poster of what looks like a Smith & Wesson revolver on the wall of the lab:

I spent quite a lot of time trying to find that poster and in the end I emailed Smith & Wesson themselves.
