Need help ! graphics problem

hi all
banging my head here

just built my new rig and have a major problem.

ive instald all windows updates , instald chipset drivers but when i instal

video drivers im having problems.

heres what i get when i click nvidia control panel

ive tryd clean windows instal it still isnt working.

heres the driver version

285.62-desktop-win7-winvista-64bit-english-whql

windows 7 64bit

asus p8z68 motherboard

geforce gtx 295

thermaltake toughpower 750w psu

the systems seeing the card but seems to be yousing the onboard graphics.

and yes i am plugd into the gtx295.

ive reseated the gcard uninstald the drivers umptean times but still no luck.

ide be gratefull for any help you guys can offer.

ok took out the gtx 295 and put in an ati hd 4870 thinking it maybe the PCIE slot.
the 4870 works perfect so its not the slot.

im stumpd.
 
I assume all the power connectors to the gfx card are in place, can you try it in a mates rig? See if it is a fault with the card?
