an online game of somekind? if so it appears to be a MAC address ban, the MAC address is inpritnted onto ever Network interface card that you buy, and is individual to that device.

If it is the MAC address that's banned then yes, you need a new NIC card, there are methods of changing it but i personally don't know and it's easier to buy a new one at the price of them.
 
Look either they've banned your MAC address or your IP.

MAC address (more likley) in simple terms is the serial number of your network card. Easiest thing for you to do is buy a new network card, (only a tenner or somthing) or you can try spoofing it, but thats complicated.

If its your IP, try using a proxy server to confirm it is an IP ban, (Less Likley) then request a new IP address from your service provider.

And you shouldn't be cheating!!!

What game were you cheating in then?
If its something that would give you an advantage above other players then you should be slapped :p

If it something like macroing repetitive task I'll let ye off, no one wants to sit pressing 2 buttons all evening.

As above more than likely a MAC address, replacing that should be cheap enough.
Unles sperhaps they use some sort of generated hardware ID that apparantly microsoft use for windows validation/registration, I doubt it seems a bit much.
