ok long story, my sister is obsessed with recipes.

She loves to cook, bake, etc etc and if she sees a recipe on the internet she does not have then she has to add it to the list.

Way back when as a kind of stop gap measure I advised her a way of keeping the webpages would be to save the entire page in internet explorer as 'web archive, single file *.mht) this seemed at the time a good enough way for her as it was 1 file with everything in it - apparently its important for her to see 'the finished product' as much as the list of ingredients, cooking times etc etc. so saving the entire page (which may be longer than a screen height so no screen capture jpg-y method) seemed the solution.

so anyway, we fast forward to now and she has recently bought a nexus 10.

My question is will 1/ will chrome be able to view all these *mht files and
2/ can anyone think of a better way for her to collate/hoard all of these recipes ? I'm starting to think now she has so many of them it's all getting a bit hard for her to keep track of..

Ideally I'm guessing she will either be viewing them via wi-fi using es file explorer or from a thumb drive using a usb otg cable.

Get her to check out pocket (used to be called read it later) http://getpocket.com/ It saves any website for offline viewing along with collating everything saved into one menu for finding things quickly.

Completely free and my missus that is also baking mad uses it all the time for recipes and anything shes finds on the net.

Works online along with a mobile app for android/ios. But most importantly it downloads the page for offline viewing.
