So i currently have only a 256GB Kingston V100 SSD as per my sig, but given it's small size it is gettin full quite quick.
Other drives i have available.
1tb WD Black
3tb hitachi
2tb WD external
1tb WD external
250gb 2.5" in caddy
120gb IDE 2.52 in caddy
500gb HDD main drive in Macbook pro
I currently use my MBP for all my music about 25GB and pictures about 40GB. An external HDD for my movies about 300GB, and Work is only a lot of fairly small office documents and some CAD. Plus an external 2tb for mac backups and movies, no backups of pc since i have no important stuff on there atm.
Im wanting to get an SSD for my Mac as it should give it a lovely speed boost along with the 8GB or ram i got recently. So my plan would be to take the V100 out of my main rig and whack it into my mac. Then i would replace it with a 256gb M4 or maybe 512gb. then i could also add in one of my 3.5" HDD, 1 or 3tb and transfer my music to my pc.
If i were to set up like this im not quite sure how i would add in a new ssd. e.g how to organise my files.
Need some ideas of what would be useful, pretty strange question i know but hey ho. Just want to know what you would do...
