Need help! please

Hey i was wondering if anyone could help i have turtle beach x12 and i have a problem where it makes a high pitch noise when i turn the sound up. And i find the sound quality a bit bad. Does any one know how to fix this issue.

If not
i will have to buy new headset but what ones should i go for i have around £50 max.

i have onboard real tek i was looking at the Plantronics GameCom 780 USB but im not sure. also is usb or normal headphones the best

Could be the source that is the problem, not the headset. Assuming it's the onboard audio that is the problem, then either get a sound card, or go for a USB headset.
