Im looking at getting the Asus GTX 780ti, and still thinking wether I should sell my current 670, but I would like to know, if I was to use 2 cards, what would I need?

Current Build:

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Power supply: Corsair TX550M
Ram: DDR3 8GB Dual
GPU: Nvidia Gtx 670
CPU: i5 3570K 3.40GHz
Case: NZXT Phantom 410

What I am looking at getting

YOUR BASKET
1 x Asus GeForce GTX 780Ti DirectCUII OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £551.99
1 x Alpenföhn K2 Mount Doom CPU Cooler £49.99
Total : £611.58 (includes shipping : £8.00).

The cooler was for the CPU, as I was going to keep the CPU and overclock it instead of getting an i7.

Any help will be much appreciated

I would get a new PSU too, your 550 will not cut it!

This is what I would do:
  • Buy new GPU
  • Buy New PSU
  • Buy new Cooler (H100i or similar)
  • Overclock CPU to 4.5ghz+
  • Enjoy

p.s. - if you are running at 1080p, your 2 cards will be waster. Get a 1200/1440p monitor!!

Yes running at 1 monitor 1080p, will keep note of this and may keep my card till i get a new monitor, or sell the gpu not sure yet, anyways, thanks guys.

You maybe able to get away with 2x670's until you decide to move over. Nvidias new range are out next year and are not going to see much of a performance drop with up and coming titles.
