Hi i have posted this in my thread in the general section but thought as this is for drives maybe better in here.I want to set up 2 sata drives 1.a samsung spinpoint as master and a 5 year old seagate as the slave mainly because the older one has a lot of stuff i want to take off from it like pics and then wipe it i will then be useing it in my other pc2.The other point is i cant use ide for this as i am using it for my dvd/writer set up any ideas which way to go.

There's no master or slave with SATA, the BIOS or post screen may say master/slave it but there's no difference.
