Need help solving a rebooting issue

Hey all, I've got a brand new self build PC that I'm having a rebooting issue, and would like some friendly help.

Symptom:

The PC will power off and reboot. I get no "BSOD" or memory dump. The only evidence of the problem that windows shows is a critical error in the event log that is entered when Windows restarts. This merely notes that the previous reboot was unexpected and may have been down to power loss.

It has happened 4 times in the last 48 hours.

Twice when at the desktop, browsing whilst copying files from a USB external drive.

Once whilst sitting in a lobby in Left 4 Dead 2 (had previously played a 2 hour game with no issues).

Once when using Prime 95 trying to work out myself what is the issue.

Specs are:

Gigabyte X58 UD5
i7 920 @ 3.8Ghz
3 x 2GB Corsair XMS 3 DDR 3
Noctua 1366SE CPU fan
(all of the above are part of the OcUK bundle, that was supplied pre-overclocked).

+ ATI Radeon 5970 and ASUS Essence ST, a Crucial 64Gb SSD and a WD 1TB HDD

PSU is a Corsair HX750 and its all in an Antec 1200

OS is Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit

All I've done so far is run some tests with Prime 95. I'm not that hot on Overclocking and what have you (other wise I probably wouldn't need to cry for your help), so I've just used the "Blend" test and a custom test with memory set to 4096. It's only failed once during numerous test runs, so it may have been a coincidence.

CPU temps get up to 79C after 10 minutes of one of these tests.

As I say above, this doesn't happen when the system is at load. Generally the system seems stable, except for these occasional reboots.

As I'm not getting any error messages, or nor am I able to unduce the reboot by my own actions, I'm not sure what do look at next.

Could it be a memory fault? Or something to do with the over clocking?

What is the best app these days to test the memory on my system (always was memtest, but I'm a little out of touch now!)?

Help is greatly appreciated :)

unstable overclock is all i can think of

And what I fear most :(

I paid for it to be overclocked for me assuming I'd get a stable system. Still, I had another overclocked machine from a previous (and now defunct supplier), that I had 6 months worth of support calls before it was finally stable!

Guess I should have learnt a lesson from that :(

Moping won't sort it. Anyone care to guide me along a path to fix it? Or am I better off waiting till monday and calling OcUK direct (after all they OC'd it)?

Memory is Corsair "TR3X6G1600C8"

This web site shows the memory as being 8-8-8-24 @ 1.65v. My BIOS shows it configured as 9-9-9-28 @ 1.66v (no 1.65v, so has to be +/- 0.01v).

Does that mean that the memory is overclocked?

Going to look at doing a memtest - can I just change the memory timings and leave every other setting alone when diagnosing?
