Hi guys Ive had my current comp 2 years and today I noticed something after playing a gfx intense game.

Current spec:-
Sapphire X800xt AGP with an arctic cooler
Using ATI tool with fan speed set to 100% all the time
Idle temp is 35c
Load temp around high 60's maybe breaking into 70
Catalyst version 4.12

The problem I had was , I was playing guild wars this morning for about an hr and a half. During this time the gfx seemed to freeze for a while, All i did to rectify it was minimize to windows and then go back in game. But what has scared me a little was when i finally came fully out of game my desktop looked like a comp without a gfx card (u know the really bad colours and definition- hope u know what i mean)

My questions are should my card be around those temps in load(only guild wars pumps it this high) and also what do u guys think of the problem I had when i came out of game? Is my card on its way out or something?

Temps are fine. The resolution problem was probably just windows not setting the desk top back to normal correctly after its been in full screen mode. Restart the computer and put the res back see if its still doing it. Otherwise dont worry

Thx for the quick reply m8 :) eased my mind a bit :)

The resolution has been fine upto/after that one time, restarting the comp corrected it and playing other games full screen(i.e CSS) Has caused no problems b4. Does it still sound like a basic error, one off or do u think theres something else ?
