I currently use a Razer Naga mouse which has been great for when I used to play MMO's but I very rarely do so anymore and also it is very small for my giant hands. I have looked at a lot of mice review videos on YouTube and I am torn between 2 mice. First I'll let you know what I don't like so you don't waste time recommending those to me.
Razer Ouroboros (actually anything from Razer, their too small) - Corsair Vengence M series (50, 60 or 90) - anything from Logitech (don't like the style or the feel of them although they have been highly recommended).
So this has kind of left me with 2 to choose from, both have excellent reviews and both are from the same company. They are the Saitek Cyborg R.A.T 9 and the Saitek Cyborg M.M.O 7.
So ever since I bought the Razer Naga I have had problems with the cable as it's very stiff and can get in the way from time to time which is why I like the idea of getting a wireless mouse even though as a gamer I have a serious mistrust of anything wireless and therefore the RAT 9 looked very interesting with the hot swapping battery's and most of the reviews say that the battery lasts a good 8 hours plus (although I have seen some that say 2 hours but that can't be right surely).
As for the MMO 7 although it is wired it seems to have fixed a lot of the complaints that people had with the RAT 7 (and also the 9 I guess). I believe that stability was one concern with the RAT 7. Also while I don't play MMO's very often, I do still play them from time to time and the RAT 9 would severely limit my ability to play those with the lack of buttons that it has. I would have the option of keeping the Razer Naga handy and use that for the MMO games I guess but that's not exactly ideal.
So I guess I'm kind of answering my own question really because as I type this it makes more sense in my head but I'm gonna throw it out to all you guys anyway.
The MMO 7 look cooler, has the same customization (very important for my huge hands), has more buttons but also has the precision aim mode which made the RAT 7 and 9 so popular, is far cheaper than the RAT 9 and did I mention looks cooler? Whereas the RAT 9 is wireless (useful but not a dealbreaker if I have to go wired), has less buttons, doesn't look as good and is far more expensive.
So if anyone can offer a really good reason why I should go for the RAT 9 over the MMO 7 I would really like to hear about it. Or is there gonna be an MMO 9 wireless version soon that will be the best of both worlds?
OK seeing as this is a huge wall of text I'm gonna put in a short version.
TL : DR - Which is better RAT 9 or MMO 7?
Thank you.
