Need help with temps

Hi guys, been clocking via the guides on here and im stuck. My spec is

Gigabyte DS3 (rev 2 I think, brought from OcUK last week.)
E6300
Freezer 7 pro
G.Skill 2 x 1Gb PC6400 Cas4
Ocz gamextreme 600w
Radeon X1950pro 512mb

Bios is F7, any higher and Rainbow Six 3 wont load.

Im currently at 7 x 350 = 2450, an increase to 360 throws errors in orthos and then I get a blue screen error and have to reboot.

I tried 6 x 400 but it would boot at all

Here is a screen shot of my bios

mem settings

All temps are fine, what do I need to do to get more?

Increase your vcore a little.
Increase your MCH voltage.
Set your PCI express to 105mhz rather than Auto.

Re-test with orthos and keep an eye on temps (with TAT).

I left the vcore where it is and made the other adjustments.

Now at 380 x 7 and testing stability, temps peaked at 41 C

To be honest all i wanted was 2.5Ghz and a stable system, I got the bug now though, may try for 400 x 7 :)

Thanks for your help

Hi, rather than make a new thread thought I'd just ask here.

I'm now up to 400 x 7 - 3Ghz

Just wanted to ask how hot should the NB heatsink get? it feels a bit hot.

My case is a cheapo thing I brought ages ago, had to loose the rear 92mm fan to make way for the Freezer 7 pro, I put an 80mm fan sucking air out the side instead, only room in the case for a fan now is in the front that would blow air passed my HD

Pic of my system http://i2.tinypic.com/4iet252.jpg

Can a fan be fitted to the NB? looks too close to the cpu cooler.

Current temps on idle system - 43 C Cpu - 27 C

Current room temperature an unusually toasty 23.8 C

Just loaded it and the CPU reached 50 C, usually my room is cooler and it peaks at about 45 C. I'll open the door now lol.

And help or advice guys?

Thanks

Nick
