Need Help Troubleshooting Setup

I purchased this setup

and am having the following problem

Initially I thought it was a problem with the MB so I sent it back and got a replacement. Plugged it in and the same problem is happening. The screen is shifted to the right as you can see in the pics.

Whats more confusing is that it works fine with an LCD monitor but when I plug it into a TV set it gives me the issues.

Any advice?
 
My guess is its either to do with the cable or the connecting ends and nothing to do with the hardware itself.

You should be able to configure the screen position in the Nvidia/Cat control panel, well I can in Nvidia control panel anyways.

However I used to have this issue with an old 720p 16:10 TV.

I remember fixing it using a setting in the Nvidia control panel that allowed me to offset the screen using X/Y coords.
