Need help with an Upgrade.

In which case I recommend getting a HD6950 and a new good quality crossfire proof power supply now then upgrade your motherboard if and when you need to add a second graphics card.

But I think you will be perfectly happy with the improvement of adding a single 6950 to be thinking about adding a second one for a long time :).

yes that'll do just fine, if you can live without modular you could go xfx pro core edition 750w £85, ocz zs 750w £73, but for £15-£20 I'd pay the extra :)
well there also the antec 750w modular £86 but its out of stock.

Yeh, I've been advised on here before about Modular. Think I'm going to stick with the power supply in my previous post.
Payday friday, I shall be buying my PSU and 6950.

This forum is good, The community make it great =] /no-homo lol

edit: I should ask, Which 9650:

the cooler on the asus is triple slot which will be an issue with airflow in xfire, not sure about the 2nd one

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-036-HS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1752 cheaper and doesn't have the issue.

^^^ Unless the lack of free games is a issue then I would go for this. Comes with a nice factory overclock over the other cards linked :)

Edit: Although on second thoughts that HIS iceQ PLUS with 3 free games looks like quite a nice deal. Either of these cards would be fine. Not the Asus though for the reason fowler002 has mentioned.
