Need help with blu ray drive

Hi ive just purchased a blu ray drive to go in my pc and installed a software that come with it called arcsoft total media now when i play a blu ray through my monitor its fine but when i play it through the hdmi to my tv from the pc the blu ray plays bit i keep losing the picture and the video signal goes and then comes back again any suggestions people ?

Did you use the same HDMI cable to connect to your monitor?

Wondering what the actual issue is, what are the specs of your pc?

No the monitor is through dvi cable when its through my tv i lose video signal and the screen is messed up

I also tried a dvd on a different drive on powerdvd same result but when i play the dvd with vlc player its fine :s

What are your computer specs.

Also what is the res of your monitor?

Geforce 660ti asus maximus gene v 3570k intel cpu n 16 gb ram and i have a 22 full hd led monitor and my tv is a full hd 42 tv

I wiped my system and reinstalled windows now it works :s its when the disk boots up and the picture changes like when a game boots up so dont know what that was
