Asus M4A78L-M LE AMD 760G (Socket AM3/AM2+) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Im looking for a good gaming computer and this is what i have come
up with i just need your help in making sure evrything will fit!, work
and that im not missing anything :)

I would say that graphics card isn't the best but if you're limited by budget then there's no problem with it.
And yes everything should work together ;)

Watch out for the PSU as well; find a review before buying!

As stated before the GT220 is a re-brand of previous NV card; if you find out what it was before I would get one of them; probably for less than the 220. The DDR2 is not a good sign. The GTS240 is a 8800GT in disguise with faster clocks. Can't find out the performance eqv of a 220!

The 760G are an older chipset; I would consider buying a 770 instead as you don't need teh onboard grpahics.

Asus M3N72-T Deluxe nForce 780a SLi (Socket AM3/AM2+) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard on special for £60. You'll be stuck with SLI so no xfire though! I was unaware that AM2+/AM3 boards were still £60 in the majoirty of cases!

The GT220 is worth 57; unless there is a 4770 for that price I would think second hand.
If you really need a new card you can consider a 4730 which are really cheap.

I'm more of a bargain shopper so I would try where the price/performance be best. I would aim for a 8800GT/9800GT for about £40. A 4830/8800GTS 512/9800GTX for about £45 or a 4850/4770/9800GTX+/GTS250 for £50.

They all have 512mb ram but will be much faster.

DDR2 second hand ram will save you a fortune too. I'll see if I can come up with a spec later.

EDIT: found a 220 review.

Sorry I meant shop second hand (been a bit stupid and I apologise for wasting your time!) New I would get something newer than a 9800GT.

Theres nothing wrong with the board you linked, I would try and get the ASUS SLI board thats on special. You can then SLI a couple of cheap NV cards for a future bump in performance.

If you are only using a gaming¨PC on budget you may be able to skimp a bit on the CPU.
