Need help with buying car

Hi all,

Been speaking to a lady who owns this car http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220522621390&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT the problem is she doesn’t have all the service history of the car although it has recently just passed an MOT check. I’m waiting to get the VIN number to do a check to see it’s all clean.

I’m a noob when it comes to cars as this is my first so any help would be welcomed as I plan to get the car today.

fonzee - I have a limited budget and puntos seem to fit the bill, wanted a polo/golf but for a decent one too pricey.

I’m guessing the yellow one is a pos?

Thanks for all the replies been very helpful.

For the car auction my dad comes with me so he can spot if it's good or not he just doesnt want to know if it's on the internet because he isn't there to see it for himself and doesn't want to travel.

I picked a few cars and curious if you guys could tell me if they're worth it and please state why they're not.
