Hey all, I have two EK blocks. These ones

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-652-EK&groupid=962&catid=1520&subcat=2885

And I also bought this...

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-193-EK&groupid=962&catid=1529&subcat=2267

However, the EK Bridge said I needed two links. Of course looking on OC's stock list I bought two BLANK links and well turns out thats the wrong thing. HOWEVER, Overclocks do not sell links to work with this birdge? So my plans are ruined :(

Any ideas?

Better research? :(

You can order the links from EK direct I believe, although I find they often have issues with stock on the harder to get parts (which is what I try to buy direct in the first place).

Alternatively, do you have space between the cards to just use a couple fittings and some tubing?

The only links I saw that work with this only go upto GTX 690S? Or 680s... Can't remember. Nothing says it works with the new 980s so yeea.....

I was avoiding the fittings and tubes as its cheaper to do the EK bridge than go ahead and buy more fittings and mess with tubing that I feel looks ugly.

if only 1 slot yeah ocuk have them but if not in stock ek should have them. I like using these bridges and it gives the cards a lot of rigidity when in place. However i find them a pain when having to remove a card or something similar

Am guessing I need this instead then

EK Water Blocks EK-FC Terminal DUAL Parallel

Will have a look on EK see if I can order one. How fast is postage? Thanks.

That will fit right on no issues? If so am sold, Dont care if its b grade :P

it's the B Grade version of this:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-344-EK
(as far as I can tell)

In the description of the block you linked it says
Up to four EK-FC980 GTX water blocks can be used on a single ATX form factor motherboard by using EK-FC Terminal (DUAL, TRIPLE or QUAD type) system or other means of interconnectivity. Please note that EK-FC Bridge & Link system is not compatible with this water block.

Are you sure the original block was the correct size?

It looks like you have a Asus Maximus VI (or VII) Formula board. Looking at pictures suggests the top 2 PCI-e x16 slots are actually an extra slot further apart than that block supports.

EDIT:
I believe the block you bought and the one I suggested means that if both cards had their air coolers on they would be touching. If they both had their air coolers on and there was still a 1 slot gap between them, then that bridge isn't long enough, you need a EK-FC Terminal DUAL 3-slot (serial or parallel).

But the photo suggest theres only one slot between my GPU and the other GPU and this is correct on my Mobo???

Is this not the same??

Why does it need 3 slot spacing? The photo shows dual slot which matches what I have perfectly so unless the photo is wrong then I want a refund >:V

Theres still a 3rd slot under the 2nd gpu, Which would need a 3 slot spacing so I dont understand lol...
