No, its just barrel distortion as opposed to pincushion distortion. Its still all distortion. If your eyes see like a fisheye, then id go to an opticians.

Less of the rolleyes please. I was joking with the opticians comment incase you missed it. A fisheye definitely distorts the image though, it just does so differently to an ultrawide and uses equisolid, equidistant, orthographic or stereographic barrel distortion instead of pincushion distortion.
yea, probably did, but i moved away from bristol about a year ago when i left for NZ. used to spend loads of time at the green/lloyds/the deaner
I know what they do, did you not read my post? I was just trying to highlight that the 10-20mm is the wrong type of distortion and isn't suitable for the OP's task, yet people seem to be trying to pick up on my inability to say what i mean when they're just really repeating what i've already said.

i don't know if anybody will care but i just bought my self the nikon 10.5 mm for £380 with delivery i hope that is a good price, just waiting for it to be deliverd

PAH I got lied to, they said it will be deliverd from the UK, i have just asked UPS to locate my parcelle, and they said it just left HongKong :| WTF.
