Need Help with gfx card!! please

Hi,
In September i bought a PC from Overclockers which has been great. I bought the computer without a gfx card as I didn't have the money at the time but now at christmas i do and so bought the Palit GTS 250 1gb green which has been recommended as a great card.

Im new to installing cards but my mate told me it's like high tech lego so i had a go and it is pretty easy. However, there wasnt enough room for the card because the plastic was so thick but i can fix that by cutting it. The real problem is that when i put the gfx card in there is a slot to put in the PCI express cable , which is this

So i put the black end of the cable into the gfx card but then i dont know where to put the white end. I have been researching this for like half a day and the other end is meant to somehow connect to the power supply ive been told. The problem is there is no wire in the PC that connects to the PCI express cable from the power supply.

Is this because i had no gfx card previously in my PC?
Does anyone know where i can get the part to connect the pci cable to the power supply?
Really need some help It's all appreciated.

I think its the power connector that i need. My power supply doesnt have one coming out of it. Do i need to buy one? if so could you link one?

I think ill have to cut the card theres nothing else i can do other than getting a smaller one. My mate has the exact same pc and card but bought his pc with the card fitted and his is cut, but obviously by a proffesional ;p

Thats the graphics card - Its got a slot for the 6 pin cable, which i put in but then i dont know where to put the two white ends.

This is my power supply, Ive took pics of the sockets, the white ends of the pcie cable wont fit anywhere in here, does that mean i need some sort of adapter cable??

So all together i have my gfx card, the pcie wire which i linked in my first post and my power supply which ive linked in thist post. Really just need to know how i get it working, becasue i cant seem to fit the white end of the pcie wire into the power supply sockets theyre not the right shape, i need sum kind of adapter or something.

Thanks a lot mate =] Im home from University for christmas and i think ive left all cables that came with the pc at my flat so they should be there. I was actually thinking it could be something like that. But just incase they arent there can i buy this cable? If so could you link

Alrite thanks a lot =] can i just ask aswell above people have told me not to cut the graphix card, how can i fit it in without doing this. If you look at my last picture i posted the orange cable on the left handside is plugged in and since the graphic card is so wide, it wont fit. The only way around it i can see is cutting the black plastic which wont do anything to the card or the fan and the card fits in perfectly. Also the warranty stickers is still on the back XD

I cant really nip back to the flat as im going skiing in a couple of days, if anyone could link me to a site where i could get the cable ghosteh is talking about id be very greatful, just incase the cables not there when i get back

Yeah its a S-ATA Cable but there isnt any other ports on the motherboard, so i guess cutting it is the only option ?? My mate has the same pc with the same graphics card but he bought it off overclockers with it already in, when i looked in his pc it was cut so not sure what to do ;o

Anyone, maybe you Ghosteh got a pic of that cable you were talking about earlier that i should have in my flat?

Thanks for he idea but its the socket the Sata cable goes into - when i attempt to put the gfx card in it just wont cos the socket is in the way which is soldered to to the motherboard and theres no other sata sockets :/

thanks a lot again especially for the link. Yeah i do have 2 Sata connectors but there both in use, the other one is connected to the disk drive, i was gonna switch it because that would make enough space. Is that cable necessary for the disk drive im guessing so :P

Cheers for all the help , Im pretty sure I know what im doing no. Gonna ring corsair up to check if the power supply is powerful enough, pretty sure it is though. Thanks a lot. and ill let you know how i get on :)
