Hi all, Ive been getting problems with Google Chrome since i started using it again.
I've always been a Mozilla user but when I read about the "cart viewer" for chrome, I decided to give chrome a try again but Ive faced nothing but problems.

Every 2 mintues or so I get this Error when I refresh the page or go to a new one.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
I've used CCleaner,Disk CleanUp and Defragged hoping that this would cure the problem but it didnt.

If someone could help me, it would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks in advance.

i used to get a timing out error for the overclockers shop site. the entire site wouldt load for about 30s no matter how much i refreshed it. it would then come back as if nothing had happened. i could get this problem once every couple of minutes, or it could be ok for days on end.

its stopped now, but ive got no idea what caused it in the first place.

you dont have norton anti virus do you by any chance?

*edit*
while im here, may i recommend these extensions:
(other than the OcUK shopping cart viewer, which you already know about)

google search by image
right click on an image, and, just like with tin eye you can search for similar images with the google search by image feature. its a lot better than tineye IMO

speed dial
almost exactly like the standard chrome homepage (the 8 thumbnails) but you can choose which thumbnails are displayed and how many thumbnails you want. to get it like chrome go for 2 rows, 4 columns and the dials distance as far to the right as it will go

Can't say I've had this problem myself but then I'm always running the latest dev builds, What is your ISP & what DNS settings are you using?

ISP is TalkTalk and what do you mean by DNS settings?
It only happens with Chrome, Firefox runs fine.
I also tried uninstalling Chrome and installing it back again but didnt help at all.

When you uninstalled chrome did you also remove the folder from C:\Users\YOUR-USERNAME\AppData\Local\Google ?

DNS:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-TCP-IP-settings

You can use OpenDNS which is 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 or GoogleDNS which is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Sometimes these perform better than the ISP at loading pages etc.

Have you tried a later build of Chrome at all?

You can get dev builds from here:http://www.filehippo.com/download_google_chrome/

Just know that the builds put up on there are not always stable.

I am not sure if I did, I just went onto the control panel and uninstalled it, then downloaded it again.

Yeah I think I get my IP and DNS automatically from TalkTalk.

When I try to setup them so that my IP is set to "static" I lose connection to the internet, this is done through the 192.168.x.x method on the search bar.

I haven't tried using the "controle panel" method.

Will download the dev build of Chrome then will try changing my DNS.

Thanks for the help so far everyone.
