Need help with notebook screen issue

My mum recently purchased a asus seashell series notebook it was second hand all seems fine apart from the screen! The colour is off for example I'm installing windows on it right and the it's got a brown tint to all of it the loading bar is purple and when a I minimise a window box the image is still burnt into the screen I don't know how to upload a screenshot to here so any help with this would be great

Has the laptop got a display output? Test that, if that's fine then it's an lcd issue. Not a lot you can do about that unless you have warranty or can return it mate
