Also is this fan controller any good
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CM-047-LP and would it be able to control EK-D5 ? And is one 360 rad enough to keep temps around 60 under load?
Lamptron is no where as good and developed as Aquaero's.
There is a dedicated program called aquasuite to work with aquaero's, which is well-known to be the best automatic controlling software in the market.
If you really want a touch-screen or a 5.25 bay controller, I would suggest saving up money to get the Aquaero 6 XT (which is better than 5 LT btw) or source a second hand (which is rare) 5 XT.
But in terms of the Lamptron that you linked, yes it will be able to control the D5 PWM that I linked. Any controller which has a PWM output can control the D5 because the D5 draws power from a 4-pin power connector instead of from the PWM connector.
In terms of rad size, it will depends on how your overclock is tbh.
Given that 780 run fairly cool, I would assume a single 120 can keep it under 60 under load on stock clock.
A 240 on a 4770 is fairly ok.
But on the safe side, I would chuck in 2 PE240 if you want to be sure, as PE series is only 40mm thick as oppose to their older EOL(?) brother XTX series...
