yeah, maybe he's got some earthing issue, but as its only a CAT5(e?) cable its got no earth line, but I'd want to have them plugged into the same socket (four way splitter) just to be sure it wasn't that.Phnom_Penh said:Main thing that comes to mind is earthing, i.e. the downstairs pc is earthed differently or something or affecting the router like that.
