hi im running a watercooling setup,and thought id have a go at overclocking my cpu,i have a Athlon 64 3000+ skt 754(newcastle) on a asus k8n4-e deluxe.ive managed to clock it to 2347.3mhz (260*9 @ 1.53v)
my problem is that i cant get past 260*9,ive tried everything but it wont post when i put it past 260 even if i lower the multiplyer,and up the voltage.
ive tried 1x 2x and 3x settings but it still does the same.ive tried 133 and 166 divider but i still cant get past 260x9 even if i lower it to 8 or 8.5 with 265 it still wont post.i noticed that if i put my vcore up any further than 1.55v the system just restarts then wont post so i ave to cmos it.do you think its the max ill be able to get or is there any way round it.should i be able to get more from it as its running at 2347mhz at the mo.cheers

yep ive tried 1x 2x 3x and 4x ive tried 133 and 166 divider aswell but still the same.thanks
