With regards to the "riser" in the following paragraph:
'8)Note the positions of the mounting holes in the motherboard. These are easily identified holes with earthing rings around them. They are arranged in a number of configurations that vary from motherboard to motherboard. Next locate the 'risers' amongst your supplied screws. These resemble gold pins with a screw thread at one end and a polygonal 'top' with a hole in for a screw to in turn screw into. The threaded 'pin' end of these screws into the motherboard to allow correct earthing. It is important that you screw risers into the holes in the case that compliment the holes in your motherboard and ONLY these holes or you may break your computer before you even start. Once you have these screwed in lift the motherboard into the case and check that they are all aligned, if they are take the motherboard and place it back on the antistatic bag, if not then keep adjusting the risers until they are.'
I have P5W DH mobo and Antec p180 case. The case comes with 3 of these gold pins risers. I am not too sure what to do with them. The case already has 9 silver screw risers in there so i'm not too sure if i should do anything with these gold one. If anyone has build it then please let me know.
This is my first time building a computer so i don't really know what to do next. Any help would be very much appreciated.
thanks
