hi all,

right lets get to it, i'm thinking of upgraging my cpu/gfx card. i won't be upgrading to Nehalem for about 3-4 years until price drop + better motherboards etc. Been there done that won't do it again, done it when the p5nt-deluxe came out..:( once bitten and all that.

ok mostly i play games, video editing/converting. I use a 22" monitor but will upgrade to 24/26" soon. don't know if to go quad or not:confused:.

would one 4870x2 or 2 x 4870 be better..

m/b rampage formula:D.

Well assuming your case is long enough to take an X2 I would get that, you wont need to run so many PCI-E power cables around. In terms of performance there is little difference though the X2 will probably be better at higher res as it uses its memory better than two seperate cards in CF would.

700W should be adequate, ive got no experience with Jeantech PSU's though so I dont know how reliable they are, possibly someone with some greater experience will be able to enlighten you further about that.
