need help!!

I have just built my new computer and was excited to turn it on to see it all working as its my first build, everything came up fine. Then it went to loads windows 7 and just blue screened and said that windows 7 need repairing which i then tried, no luck!
But i have got the windows 7 OS on my external HD, but how can i get it to boot from the HD? or atleast how can i make the external harddrive bootable?

you need to do a fresh install, windows installs are usually tied to the board there installed on, so swapping boards from say asus to Gigabyte, different drivers and board stuff, new install

ah man is there anyway that i will be able to create my external HD bootable?

go into bios and change boot priority

changed the boot priority and no lucky ;/
